Christina is a maker of beautiful things, from pottery to textiles. Her work is “inspired in part by childhood fears (lots of frightening land and sea creatures!); a fascination with color, pattern and design; love
and concern for our precious environment; and the idea that life is
strange, so art should be, too!”

Although it’s the middle of winter we are beginning to look ahead to the warmer days of summer and this year’s Arts and Artisan festival! We are currently reaching out to last year’s vendors and will be opening up registration for new vendors on February 20th.

The Local Bouquet is a full service floral design studio located in Little Compton, R.I. that uses locally and domestically grown blooms for every occasion and event, big or small. Owned and operated by Maureen Azize and Mary Kate Kinnane, their designs are loose, natural and rustic. They use blooms from their very own flower farm and other U.S. farms, ensuring a uniqueness and quality that you won’t be able to find anywhere else!

Doreen is a self taught freehand colored pencil artist residing in Cape Cod. Her work also features coastal maps of Rhode Island and Massachusetts that are perfect for anyone who loves the shore.
Wonderful children’s stories written and illustrated by the talented Joan Klatil Creamer. Visit her booth and pick up a new story for bedtime and night light to match!

ecoRI Inc. is a unique initiative devoted to educating the public about local environmental and social justice issues and how they interconnect. The nonprofit accomplishes its mission in separate but linked ways: investigative reporting, community journalism, educational programs, public outreach, green consulting and residential food-scrap collection.
Olive Spoon Studio and Purple Blossom Studio are husband and wife Michael and Erin. The idea for Olive Spoon came about from a combination of her love of antique silverware, and Michael’s love of upcycling. They both love the thrill of the hunt, scouring antique shops, flea markets, and fairs all over New England for old flatware. Michael turns their finds into beautiful jewelry, and stamps words and phrases onto spoons and forks.
Erin does some of her own crafting too as Purple Blossom! She is responsible for the striking artisan jewelry made from recycled sterling silver and fine silver, and semi-precious stones.
